Background

Violette specialises in various aspects of health law, both at the federal and Flemish levels. She deals with general health law, such as patient rights, medical liability and NIHDI regulations, as well as with the application of health law to other areas of law.

‍

She has a particular expertise in guiding organisations through the interplay and convergences between health law and data protection law.

‍

Violette is also an teaching assistant, associated to the faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Ghent, where she supports various education courses for the Department of Public Health and Primary Care.
